Named in honour of British and British Empire Champion heavyweight boxer, ‘Bombardier’ Billy Wells, Bombardier beer was developed by Bedford’s Eagle Brewery in 1980, from where it has been brewed ever since. The beer is proud to have remained a staple in pubs across the land and to support Season 7 of the All-Weather Championships.
Bombardier’s support of the Mile category will see their branding across all mile races run on the 4 ARC All-Weather Racecourses during the All-Weather Championships season. In addition, Bombardier beer will be available on tap for racegoers to enjoy throughout the year.
Feature races include the new Fast Track Qualifier at Newcastle on 8 January, the Listed Lady Wulfruna Stakes on 7 March at Wolverhampton and the £150k All-Weather Mile Championship at Lingfield Park on Good Friday. The race was won in 2019 by the popular Oh This Is Us, trained by Richard Hannon and ridden by Tom Marquand.
"We’re delighted to welcome Bombardier as a new partner to the All-Weather Championships ahead of the launch of Season 7. As a brand, Bombardier has fantastic heritage value, and we look forward to bringing their product to our racecourses around the country through this partnership.
